With great pleasure we would like to take a moment and share with you the history, philosophy, and future goals of Byrne Brothers Construction. Founded in 1984 under the name Mark Byrne, Builder, this company was primarily a framing subcontractor at various developments in the West Windsor area. By 1989, we had grown from a small group of 4 to 16 men strong (to this day we average 10-15 men on staff). In February of 1989, we changed the name of our company to Byrne Brothers Construction, and we incorporated in December of 1996. By 1989, we had built a solid reputation as a quality and conscientious framing contractor, well respected in our field. We have framed well over 500 homes, some as large as 23,000 sq. ft. to as small as 2,000 sq. ft.

In 1989, we entered the remodeling field and since that time we have served over 775 individual clients. We strive to foster lifelong relations and a good testament to this is that many of our clients are repetitive, sometimes up to 5 times for various projects and most new clients are referrals. Today in the year 2011, our remodeling division revenue has outpaced our framing division for the 10th year. In the past few years, we have derived approx. 7% of our revenue from commercial accounts.

Our goals for the future are to continue to excel in the remodeling field, and to build a reputation as a caring, safe, responsible, trustworthy firm. We plan to grow our commercial division by 5-10% per year. We also plan to remain in the framing field indefinitely, for this was our start and a good beginning for our novices. We grow only so far as we can perform our mission statement superbly.

Throughout the years, we have employed many family members of founder Mark Byrne, Sr., 2 sons, 10 nephews, 4 brothers, 3 brother-in-laws and 5 cousins. Today we are made up of mostly non-family members. Blood related or not, we are all brothers and sisters in the fraternal sense, embellishing a common call to duty towards our clients and to each other.

1. We are celebrating 25 years of building dreams and we take great pride in our philosophy that “The client is always right. We are here to servel” This has shown to be very rewarding, because most of our business is through referrals and repeat clients (we have never used job site signs).
2. Our office will call on a daily basis to inform you of what will be going on in your home the next business day. We encourage communication. We set up a command center at the job site complete with a fire extinguisher, safety information and a corkboard for clients to leave messages for our staff. Clients also receive the cell phone number of our lead carpenter.
3. We are fully insured for workers compensation and liability. We are licensed in towns that require and with the State of New Jersey.
4. We have an emergency phone number on our answering machine for our clients that are having work done on their home in case of any problems during non-business hours.
5. Our office manager, who answers the phones, can answer many questions you may have and if we happen to miss your call, it will be returned promptly.
6. We have a combined experience of l82 years construction experience within our 8 member staff of field and office personnel.
7. After each job we send out a client satisfaction survey.  This gives us feed back on how we are seen through the client's eyes, areas we may need to improve on, so that we may have raving fans as clients.
